AAM (“Artigiani-Associati-Maletti”) was born in the 70s from an idea of Guerrino Maletti, with the aim of creating exclusive lines of furniture for hairdressers at affordable prices, specializing later in the production of washing and infrared lamps. In 1998, after the merger of AAM and the historical Gemelli Gualtieri acquired by the Group, the new brand Beauty*Star was disclose at Cosmoprof in Bologna, occupying the exhibition space in the Hall-33, the most renowned for Salon-Furnishing.
In the 2000s, thanks to the collaboration with international designers, important collections were born such as GOLDART design by Christophe Pillet, with an elegantly essential style, SPECCHI COLLECTION by Claudio Silvestrin, characterized by sinuous lines and luminous materials in which white predominates, JAMES collection by Angelo Dall’Aglio and the CUBE, MODO and DSPLAY collections by Massimo Magrini, which express a high-impact style of furnishing.
The company has always been in search of innovations and new technical, productive and commercial solutions, which have allowed it to create accessories and furnishing products for hairdressers in Italy with an excellent quality-price ratio.

After acquiring part of the Belvedere shareholdings, was born in 2019 “New York New York” collection with the aim of mixing attractive design with a selection of materials with low environmental impact. A vision that anticipates the new currents inspired by the New York glamour style and fully respecting the modern criteria of sustainability.

The success of the New York New York collection has encouraged the company to embrace an increasingly green and sustainable philosophy. A natural evolution reflected in investments in new eco-friendly materials and in a constant inspiration from nature.
