BEAUTY-STAR was founded in January 1998 following the acquisition of AAM (“Artigiani-Associati-Maletti”), an old company that GuerrinoMaletti had founded after the war.
In the same year the historical “Gemelli-Gualtieri” closed, freeing the exhibition space in Hall-33, the most renowned in the Salon-Furnishing field.
The concurrence of these two opportunities led, in Spring 1998, to the new BEAUTY-STAR brand being launched at Cosmoprof in Bologna, and since then its growth in terms of image and turnover has not suffered from any crisis, its visibility increasing with the clear aim of being “beautiful, young and accessible”.
Lean, agile, sensitive to market trends, the experimentation of new forms of communication, the speed with which it enters new channels with simple, effective ideas, the ability to adapt to the winds of fashion and the flexibility of penetrating emerging niche markets are part of BEAUTY-STAR’s DNA.
All this without ever betraying its craft origins, the pleasure of design or the sophistication of its technological choices.
After the first ranges presented in 1998 - HARVARD, with its soft, classic lines and BERKELEY - with more technical lines and materials - many other collections have been added over the years, each marking their own eras, such as FUXIA, with its unique colours and design, or NATURAL, with its soft shapes and quality materials, or again MIX & MATCH which develops new languages, keeping an eye on fashion and design trends.
The company has always been committed to seeking new technical, production and sales solutions to create made in Italy furnishing products and complements offering excellent value in terms of design, quality and price.
